Juana is a thirteen-year-old teenager who plays a game with her cousin Inés, where they suffocate themselves to have visions. Upon waking from one of these hallucinations, Juana becomes convinced she has seen her real parents.

Through a series of surreal events, and some not so surreal, Juana becomes increasingly convinced that she is not part of her family.
